Say you have a million dollars in the bank, or any large amount, and you decide to just cash it and go, and you place it in a bag. 

Let’s say this money burns up, regardless of the reason.

Now, all the hard work you put in, gone.

All the sleepless nights, gone

The time you converted to value disappeared.

So now you’re penniless because of…...oxidation?
