When You Die You Get Transformed to an Article

You spend a lifetime breathing, loving, stressing, choosing, regretting, failing, creating. Then one day, you stop.

And then you become an article.

“Beloved entrepreneur dies at 43.”“A tragic accident claims the life of local artist.”“Sources confirm death after brief illness.”

Suddenly, you're a passive subject in the third person. You’re no longer talking, you’re being talked about.Summarized.

Cropped.

Condensed into a headline.

Your life’s mess becomes a paragraph.Your complexity, a sentence.Your contradictions, edited out for tone.

The people who knew you will wince at the photo they used.Strangers will skim your name while scrolling past traffic updates.Your story, now measured in clicks, likes, and the quiet indifference of a comment section.

You are now searchable. You are now past tense. You are now a transient piece of information.

And if you were lucky, or unlucky, enough to have done something “notable,” you might get a few follow-up pieces.A tribute.A think piece.A controversy.

But eventually, you’ll be archived.Folded into a digital drawer labeled "Older Stories."

That’s what happens after you die.You become an article. Then a fleeting memory

Then nothing.
